another day down

Well.  I made it to past the half way point of the week.  And that's really the most exciting thing about today.

I moved really really slowly this morning because I just did not feel rested at all when I got up.  So I barely made it to breakfast and walked into the school right at the bell was ringing.  And then I was exhausted all day.  So I wasn't very focused on or interested in anything we did.  Grammar and Communication classes were both more practice with the subjunctive but instead of wishes and desires we used it with emotions and sentiments and such today.  Then in the afternoon class we talked about vacations and trips and vocabulary you might use when talking about that.

After class we went into one of the phone shops to see what kind of plans were available.  I didn't wind up getting one yet though.  It's just hard because the different countries all use different things that there are words for but I don't know them.  So the phone we would get here would only work here in spain.  And I don't really want to use it much so I wasn't sure if it was entirely worth it.  But I probably will just in case and for those quick weekend trips within spain when I won't be able to get in touch with people over the internet.  Then I don't know what I will do for any traveling I might do after spain.  I guess we will just have to see when the time comes.

We had pizza for dinner which was good.  We also had this spanish thing that has a name I don't remember and those were good too.  The meat was a little weird.  The sauce was good and everything it's just that the chicken itself was really tough and chewy and required a lot of effort to eat which I don't really like.  J had us try some wine from his hometown but he gave me more than I was really wanting to drink and it's weird having to explain to people that I am not accustomed to drinking and therefore do not want to drink a lot all at once.  Especially when this is clearly not the case with the other girls.

Since none of that was very interesting I guess you deserve some pictures.  You seen plaza de espana before but last time it was at night so it will be a different point of view I guess.
