Today. Hmm. Nothing too exciting this morning. Classes were pretty boring. I don't like when we're supposed to practice using dumb spanish phrases. I honestly don't even know what we did in the grammar class. Oh yeah it was like relative phrases or something like that. I don't know. Then the first part of the communication class was good because we worked with a Juanes song and I love Juanes. So that was fun. The next part of the class though was spent in groups and we were supposed to be telling anecdotes using spanish phrases that have colors in them. Then conversation basically went like, yeah I'm sure I've done this or had that happen but I can't remember a specific time. Finally the morning was over and then the fun began. Emily and I decided our time would be better spent walking around the city this afternoon than sitting in with another class while our teacher was at a meeting. So we gave ourselves the afternoon off and walked around part of the city we had not yet explored. Basically all we found were some souvenir shops. Then we met up with the group from the school to go on a tour of the real alcázar which is this old palace fortress that the arab kings originally used or built or something and then eventually the christians came in and their kings took it over. It was pretty cool and the gardens were beautiful but it closes pretty early so we did not get a chance to see the whole garden before we had to leave. So we will have to go back some time. But I do have some pictures for you of what we did get to see.

After the tour we went to this restaurant where everything on their menu is 1 euro on wednesdays. It's the chocolate sandwich place. It was delicious.
Got back to the house. Had a little time before dinner. Dinner was some kind of pasta, the potato thing I like, and some meat with some kind of sauce. Not much else to report. Glad it's past the half way point of the week.
