and the weekend begins

It's an early weekend for us this week.  Tomorrow we leave for Barcelona.  So exciting!

Today I got to class a little late because I just could not drag myself out of bed.  It took me so long to get up.  It's just so warm in my bed and so cold in the room, especially the tile floor.  I'm beginning to wonder if it will ever be warm in my room when I get up.

But anyway, morning was same as always and business class was business class.  We learned about the structure of job advertisements I guess you might call it and also the structure of a cover letter or letter of presentation.

After class we were able to print off all of our tickets for the train and the plane and the hotel confirmation. So we're all set for the trip.  We also went to 100 montaditos for a little snack of nachos and then I picked up some more snack like stuff at the store on the way back to the house.

For dinner we tried this salmon that we watched J fix yesterday.  He seriously was pulling all of these little things out of it and did so much work to get one thin little slice.  It was crazy.  We ate it on top of a slice of buttered bread.  It wasn't bad but it wasn't my favorite.

Now I have to finish packing and get ready for my early morning.  The nice thing is that R and J are going to visit their son and his family in Madrid this weekend and their train leaves 15 minutes before ours so they told us we could just share a taxi with them.  Which is better than having to walk all the way to the train station.
