I seriously haven't posted since sunday?

I had no idea!

I knew I missed yesterday, but monday too?  I've become quite the slacker.

So what's new?  I started my internship at the daycare place.  It's rather interesting.  Kind of exhausting, but not too terrible.  And at this point I'm already down to the point where I can say only 20 more days.  So I think I can make it.  It's just always hard coming into a place like that where you don't know the routine or the schedule or what kind of philosophy they have with regard to learning and discipline and all that.  And it's harder to participate in that when it's all in spanish.  There are things I might want to say to the kids or a way I might try to handle a situation but I just don't really have the words to do it.  Which  is kind of frustrating.  I'm not too bad at understanding the teachers though.  It's just when I have to do the communicating the problems arise.  But hopefully it will get better.

Other happenings... Monday afternoon I just came back to the house and chilled for the afternoon.  Then yesterday I walked around the city a bit and went into some shops.  I also bought myself an ice cream cone to eat as I walked back to the house because it was so sunny and nice.  Then last night I went out for a bit with the girls I live with to celebrate one of their 21st birthdays.  It was kind of awkward not really knowing anyone there, but it was interesting to see what the stereotypical college student living in spain does with their nights.  I'm excited for the celebration to continue tonight.  My birthday was a lot of fun and we were eating the cake for days afterward so I'm looking forward to more of the same.

And now I am looking forward to an afternoon and evening of doing nothing because I'm exhausted after last night.  I seriously don't understand those people that go out almost every night.  I couldn't do it.
